Tomorrow morning, when the rooster crows, Simply Primitives and Early Works Mercantile will be open for business!
My friends are offering gorgeous things, and since Christmas is a matter of weeks away, hehe, why not browse with your favorite cup of Jo?
This month for Simply Primitives, I have decided to get back to what drove me into selling my wares in the first place. Bunny paintings! I painted Mr. Wiggles out in acrylics and gave him a nice, antiquing glaze, kissed him on the cheek, and placed him in a handsome frame. (Frame is optional on this one)

Then I painted up one my Kraft houses in Fall / Halloween colors. I layered the colors and distressed it to give it texture, then added a crepe medallion in the center. I made the twig tree (from a real twig) to go with.

Then for Early Works, I created this Fall vignette, pieces sold separately.

The drieds are bundled together with wax dipped hemp twine, and each have a lovely, super-scented, cinnamon/clove, wax ornament affixed to their front. The ornaments feature Thistle. I love thistle, don't you!?

And a friend of mine poured this bisque pumpkin. I painted it out simply and added lots of antiquing. You can use this as a wrapped candy canister, or a drieds vase, or anything you wish. Top comes off.

Still wet (and glossy) in the photo. Will not be glossy when dry.
I put one of my smaller reproductions of Abigail into this lovely little oval frame:

And lastly, a larger reproduction on canvas of Ellie:

Better pictures of Ellie to come. Very wet in the pictures.
SO, now I can clean my kitchen (remember, we call her Cooking With Crafts) and enjoy some sunshine!
Oh, how could I forget! The question of the week. How does a puppy play with green paint?

Apparently with his ears.
Have a happy weekend all!
Hugs
Annie
